Have you realize that most people hate their 9-to-5 jobs? I’m sure you have and this is a common trait with most individuals who get up, and decide to go to work in the morning to pay their bills and make a living. Look there is nothing wrong with this… having a job is a part of life. But also understand that one of your main goals should be to work for yourself and create your own income and not have to depend on the power of a boss.

When you begin starting a business online you put yourself in the position to make this all happen. A reason why people fail at this is because they are not self-motivated. They do not get up in the morning and put the work that needs to be done to make their computer business run. This business is not going to just run on autopilot… it may when you get the hang of it but at first you’re going to have to build a foundation in order to see everything come together.

I find it very amusing when people complain about their jobs but then do nothing to solve the problem. They just work longer hours and demand more pay. That is not going to solve the problems at all and you must understand that as well. What you are going to have to do is take a stand right now and make a decision. After you make that decision you must stick behind it.

There are no secrets and no special strings here… all it takes is action. If you can do this then you can take your first steps to starting a real business on the Internet. It’s going to be a fun journey as long as you make it that way.

It is my cousin Lisa’s birthday on the 24th of this month and it took me five days to decide on what to give her. She is like my dear younger sister because we grew up together. We are also neighbors that are why we are very close to each other because she always comes over to my house and we do stuffs together like studying, cooking, chatting, etc. I just could not believe she is turning eighteen this month. It is just like yesterday when she still played with her Barbie dolls but now she likes to go out on a date with guys her age already which is pretty normal. Funny isn’t it? But I guess that is just life. And anyway, I went to the mall yesterday and bought her a brand new pair of pink converse boots.

For weeks, I saved my allowance just so I could buy a present for her. Being a student is tough because financially speaking you is still dependent on your parents and you cannot do something about it. Yes, part time jobs sometimes can help you with money but your salary is still not enough to prove to them that you can do it on your own. When I was sixteen, I told my father that I wanted to get an apartment for myself and live independently. He just laughed at what I said so I just forgot all about it. I guess I will just wait until I graduate from college.

With Lisa, I acted like her older sister because I am three years older than her. Her mother is a journalist and her job requires her to travel a lot. Her dad does the “mother” job most of the time. She loves fashion just like girls her age and one time I saw her drool over a pair of converse boots worn by a model in the magazine. That was when I decided to buy her that as a birthday present.

To end the story, as expected I am kind of broke now and I ruined my own surprise present for her. She came to my house this morning and unfortunately I was unable to hide the paper bag that contained the boots. When she saw the bag, she opened it and I saw the look on her face as she drooled over her birthday present just like the first time I saw her with the same reaction over those boots in the magazine. I did not need to explain anymore because she knew that the pink converse boots are definitely for her.

When I first got involved in network marketing I was sold on the concept of residual income from the very first time that I ever saw circles drawn on a board explaining the companies com plan. I just new that everyone that I knew would want to do this and we would make a lot of money. I was such a bright eyed dreamer that really didn’t know what exactly it was going to take to reach my goals and dreams. What I didn’t know was that I was going to have to change everything that I was use to doing at that time and learn a brand new skill set. Now that was over 5 years ago and I have to say that I am a far better marketer now than I was then.

Now to get to that point it took a lot of trial and error, but I have to say that it was well worth it. What a lot of new people in the industry don’t understand is that in order to make a lot of money your going to have to really embrace this industry and love what you do first. There are a some who think that you can build a business or empire strictly through a list of family and friends, but I know that you will increase your odds of success if you learn how to really market and brand yourself.

What your upline or sponsor won’t tell you is that building your business by using the three foot rule, approaching family friends is the fastest way to build for a newbie,but also the reason why 90% of the people in the industry fail. Every person who comes into the industry come from different income levels, education, and different network connections. That is why some can come in and really prosper in network marketing because they have better friends of influence and contacts. See I came in on the other side of that equation, with really no friends of influence, but I had the drive and determination to really succeed at this industry.

See the question is how do you get over to the side with building friends of influence and changing your economic situation that your in right now.
